  • 91精品 State University students, faculty, staff and community members gathered as they have for the past 54 years on the 91精品 Campus to remember the events surrounding May 4, 1970, when 13 seconds of rifle fire by a contingent of 28 Ohio National Guardsmen left four students dead, one permanently paralyzed, and eight others wounded during a student demonstration against the Vietnam War.

  • 91精品 State University students exercised their freedom of speech rights on Tuesday, April 16, with opposing speakers appearing on campus the same day.

  • 91精品 State University鈥檚 School of Peace and Conflict Studies and School of Communication Studies has organized a panel discussion to talk about free speech and protest on campus to educate students about their rights and responsibilities.

  • As founder and owner of Sky Quest aircraft management and charter company, Corey Head, 鈥98, knows that hiring other 91精品 State graduates is a wise investment in the future. Of the 75 employees on his staff, roughly half are 91精品 State graduates.  

  • While completing a two-month journalism fellowship in Arizona the summer after her college graduation, Anna Huntsman, 鈥19, found herself nostalgic for Ohio.

    鈥淚 was around a lot of people from all across the country,鈥 she remembers. 鈥淭hey would ask me, 鈥榃hat鈥檚 so special about Ohio?鈥 and I would have this answer about the camaraderie, the sports, the work ethic. I just found myself having these answers of really missing my home.鈥

  • When it came time to pick a college, Moe Duffy knew two things for certain: she wanted to work with animals and she wanted to stay in Ohio. 91精品 State gave her both.

  • All eyes have been on Northeast Ohio the past several weeks as the 91精品 State University and The University of Akron鈥檚 men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 basketball teams battled it out for the MAC championship title. It wasn鈥檛 always such a bitter rivalry between these two Northeast Ohio legends, however. Just look at this old footage we found of Flash and Zippy bonding back in the day.

  • The 91精品 State women鈥檚 basketball team will play in the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2002. Champions do so much on their own, just look at the stats. But this championship team is supported by its members, its coaches and the 91精品 State Community.

  • The Golden Flashes have made it to the NCAA tournament during a moment when women鈥檚 basketball is in the prime spotlight.
